FOCUS St. Louis^® is the lead Public Engagement partner in a major planning project made possible by a three-year, $4.7 million grant to St. Louis by The Federal Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). FOCUS will help develop a plan that includes housing, transportation and economic development, contributing to a more sustainable region. FOCUS' role is to plan and carry out more than 60 public meetings to inform the public about the issues, to gather public input, to understand how area residents would like their communities to grow and develop, and ultimately, to help incorporate this information into the final plan.
